To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Blair46 Academy Page Join Date: Jan 2006 Guild: [GRDS]	The thing is, were there any counters for Spirit Spam? Or, were there as many counters for Spirit Spam as there are for this helm? Spirit Spam, hundred swords/IW, I consider oversights on Anet's part, and I consider that axe as a bug. I feel as though the HoD helm is more of just something that people have to complain about because they can't think of ways to deal with it. Hundred Swords/Illusionary Weaponry were dealt with in the way that hundred swords was made into an elite, and Spirit Spam was fixed because there wasn't much a team could do against it. These skills were unbalanced because of this. However, the HoD helm is just an item that you can counter with the use of different skills and spells. If you just dealt with this particular issue by figuring ways around it, then there would be a lot less hassle. All in all, Spirit Spam is a completely irrelevant fix to the game, since the HoD item is not a skill. <--- Yeah, I'm cool too, except I didn't spam and just have this as my post.
